Weekend Fun

Many students choose to attend more than one session. This gives them the chance to take different courses, to get to know the staff better, and to spend more time on campus. We offer a multisession discount that is applied through our online registration process, and students who attend more than one session are welcome to stay on-campus or to go home in between sessions. For students staying on campus, there is a nominal charge to cover Friday and Saturday night stay, meals and supervision.

On the Saturdays between sessions, we head to a nearby destination for a day of relaxation and fun in the sun! There is no shortage of popular beaches nearby, including Long Branch, Belmar, and Point Pleasant. Students might also spend the Saturday at other desitnations such as Great Adventures, having fun at the amusement and water parks. Students are accompanied on all trips by Summer Scholars staff members.
