Community

We have built a committed and enthusiastic staff, all of whom become critical members of the leadership team. We take great care in training our staff to teach a strong academic program, lead fantastic activities, and maximize the unique experience of a residential youth program environment. We connect an energetic, committed and diverse group of staff members with our talented students. In addition to being teachers and activity leaders, our staff become role models and mentors.

The summer staff comprises our program director, academic director, residence life director, teachers, and resident advisors. The program director oversees all aspects of the program and makes sure that the students are well engaged, growing both academically and socially, staying safe and having fun. The academic director supports students and staff in their coursework, and the residential life director oversees the activities and residential experience of the students. Our directors, residential assistants and many teachers live in the residence halls with the students to ensure 24-hour availability and supervision.

Part of what makes Centenary such a vibrant place during the school year is the wonderful community of students, faculty and staff. Our students come from across the country and around the world. We incorporate the College’s energy and experience into the summer program, and we do our best to include our summer students in the exciting world of a collegiate campus.
