Centenary Summer Scholars broadens the minds of young students ... by introducing them
to subjects that their schools might not offer to them, and giving them the opportunity
to experiment with classes to see if they would like to pursue it as a career.
Centenary Summer Scholars is a co-ed academic program for rising 8th through 12th grade students.
Located in Hackettstown, New Jersey, Centenary College provides a rich learning experience in which
students can make the most of its wonderful resources.
New for our 2009 season, we are offering both day and residential options. Students living nearby can take advantage of
our academic programs and return to home in the evenings. Students traveling from other states, or who enjoy the residential experience,
are welcome to board for one or more sessions. Residential students attending multiple sessions also have the option of staying on campus between sessions.
We also offer MULTI-WEEK DISCOUNTS. Students attending more than one week of Summer Scholars can enjoy a special cost savings. Visit our Application and Tuition page for details.
We offer four one-week sessions, and students choose one course per session. Our eight course offerings are listed on the right side of the page - we are
continuing some of our most popular courses from last summer, as well as introducing some new courses requested by our students.
All sessions accept students at all levels
Our talented staff and diverse group of students make for a remarkable summer experience. We are thrilled that Luke Krueger is
returning as our program director, along with many other staff members from last summer. Our directors, teachers and residential advisors
put together an amazing program of classes and activities that ensures students are learning and having fun from morning to night.
