John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center

The John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center completed a five million dollar expansion and renovation in January 2007. The athletic facility was expanded to 30,000 square feet and includes a 1,200 seat gymnasium with two full-sized multi-purpose courts, a fitness center/weight-room, locker rooms, a pool with separate locker room facilities, indoor batting cages, new athletic staff offices and athletic training facilities.

Fitness Center

The Fitness Center, located in the John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center, features state-of-the-art strength and fitness equipment, including weight machines, free weights and a cardio room that contains elliptical machines, treadmills and exercise bikes.

Cyclone Field

The field located in the back of the campus near the newly constructed Founders Hall is home to the men’s and women’s soccer teams, the men’s and women’s lacrosse teams as well as other campus activities. In 2005, the practice and game field received a makeover with the addition of new sod, a scoreboard, a drainage system and sprinkler system.

Equestrian Center

Our Equestrian Center incorporates the latest features in arena design available today. It is a heated, bright 220' x 100' riding space with a misting system, quality sound system, state-of-the-art jumps, all-weather sand, rubber and Euro-felt footing from Footings Unlimited, as well as a judge's booth, viewing stands and viewing lounge.

The facility also includes a second indoor arena, 196' x 86', used for additional lessons and schooling. We also have a lighted outdoor arena, 240' x 125', with all-weather footing, as well as a multi-acre outdoor hunt course.

To house our horses, the Equestrian Center has two barns with large box stalls, wide aisles and fully equipped grooming stations. The main barn is heated. Both barns are maintained by a special team of barn staff, and there is also a third barn designated for students who may wish to bring their own horses.

Zeitler Wrestling Facility

The Zeitler Wrestling Facility opened on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010. The 5,000 square foot addition to the John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center contains a wrestling room and an office space. The wrestling room has a mat that encompasses 3,928 square feet, a cardio room with stationary bikes, treadmills, climbing ropes that will reach 15 feet in height, pull-up bars and a wrestlers’ storage area. A 55-inch flat screen television is mounted on the wall and the room has a surround-sound stereo system as well.

Legion Field

Located on Willow Grove Street in Hackettstown, less than a mile from campus, Legion Field is the home for the Centenary softball team. The field, located behind the American Legion building, features two dugouts, outfield fences and a snack shop on the premises.

High Bridge Hills Golf Club

High Bridge Hills Golf Club is a par 71, 6,700 yard course that provides golfers an authentic true-links layout on spectacular terrain overlooking the beautiful Spruce Run Reservoir of Hunterdon County, NJ. Elevation changes are aplenty, including the dramatic Par 3, eighth hole with a tee-to-green drop of nearly 100 feet over a natural gorge. A darling of golfers and the press alike, High Bridge Hills has emerged as Northern New Jersey's best true links course.

Tannery Field

Located along the Grand Street entrance to campus, Tannery Field is the practice field for the softball team and also is used for campus activities and community athletic programs. The field has two permanent dugouts, a newly constructed press box, permanent and portable fences as well as a scoreboard and light towers. The playing surface and outfield grass areas are being renovated this fall.

Diamond Nation

Diamond Nation is the home to the Centenary baseball team. A new development in Flemington, N.J., Diamond Nation will play home to the nationally renowned Jack Cust Baseball Academy as well as the new Jennie Finch Softball Academy, solidifying itself as the premier baseball and softball tournament and training complex in the entire country. Diamond Nation is a 65-acre campus that includes 700,000 square feet of turf fields and the ability to play up to 10 games simultaneously, even during the Winter.

TD Bank Park

TD Bank Ballpark is the home to the Centenary baseball team. The facility opened on June 7, 1999 and has since become one of the most successful minor league ballparks throughout the nation, drawing over 2,100,000 fans by its sixth season. The 6,100 seat ballpark is the home to 70 Somerset Patriots games during an Atlantic League season. The ballpark was designed by Clark Caton and Hintz and SSP Architecture and built by Epic Construction. The ballpark features seats with backs and cup holders for fans to to have every comfort when enjoying the game in the Premium Field Box, Field Box, and Upper Box seating areas.
