The Global Studies major is designed for American students who wish to explore global affairs while developing knowledge of a second language. Unique among New Jersey colleges, this program is strongly characterized by history, political science, business, economics and foreign language study.
Global Studies majors are encouraged to study abroad, either for a summer program or for one or two semesters after the sophomore year. Centenary offers articulation agreements with the following colleges and universities:
- Bath College of Higher Education in England
- The American College in London
- Marymount College Study Abroad Programs
- The Reconnaissance Japan Program at Obirin University
- Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China
Global Studies majors are prepared for careers in international relations and international business.
