Centenary College Launches Online Virtual Campus Tour for the School of Professional Studies

08/21/2014, 03:20 PM

Hackettstown, N.J., August 21, 2014 – Adding to the Centenary College virtual campus tour, which was launched last October, the School of Professional Studies (SPS) can now be toured online at CentenaryCollege.edu/Tour_SPS.

This new area of the virtual tour specifically focuses on Centenary’s learning center for adult students, which is located in Parsippany.  This guided tour will allow viewers to see classrooms, computer laboratories and an outside view of the center, as well as learn about SPS programs.  It also provides Centenary’s online SPS students with a visual perspective of the College.

First established in 1999, SPS provides an entrepreneurial approach to the educational experience by offering professional studies to an adult population, allowing students to select the modality most conducive to their busy lifestyle.  Students can take classes in a variety of formats: one-night-per-week, completely online or through a blended approach, which combines online and in class methods.

The curriculum combines theory and practical experience, allowing students to apply knowledge acquired immediately.  Having conferred thousands of A.A., B.S.B.A. and M.B.A. degrees, the School of Professional Studies serves as an inclusive and collaborative learning community dedicated to preparing adult students to progress further in society and to contribute directly to the state’s economic engine.

Centenary partnered with the interactive company, YouVisit, to develop this product.  To view Centenary’s main campus in Hackettstown or the Equestrian Center in Long Valley, view CentenaryCollege.edu/Tour.

“This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in the School of Professional Studies,” says Lisa Michalowicz, Associate Dean of Adult Student Services at the School of Professional Studies. “The virtual tour helps prospective students get a realistic outlook of the SPS experience.”

In addition to the visiting Centenary College through the virtual tour, in-person tours are available by calling (877) 437-3746.
