Hackettstown, N.J. – The Career Center at Centenary College will host a Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at the John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center at Centenary College. More than 35 local, regional and national employers are planning to attend, and job seekers will be able to establish direct connections with the various companies represented. This opportunity is also available to students of the local community colleges, as well as the general public. Professional attire is required.

Some of the participating employers include Abilities of North West Jersey, Alternatives Inc., Cintas, Liberty Tax Services, Pennsylvania State Police, Ronetco Supermarkets, Sam’s Club, TD Bank, UPS, and more. A full list of participating employers can be found on the Career Center web page: http://www.centenarycollege.edu/CareerServices.
“Hosting these organizations on campus gives our students, and members of the community an important opportunity to connect directly with employers that they may not been able to communicate with otherwise,” says Michael Iris, Director of Career Services at Centenary College.  “Our intention of hosting employers from different backgrounds on campus can lead to establishing meaningful connections between the college and community, as well as employment opportunities. I hope that many individuals will come out and join us on November 28th.”

For more information about the event, or if you would like to become a participating employer, please contact Michael Iris at (908) 852-1400, ext. 2394, or irism@centenarycollege.edu.
