Elyse was a transfer student from Warren County Community College, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Centenary College in 2008. After graduation, Elyse worked for Warren County Community College as a Student Advisor and then Big Brothers Big Sisters as a Case Manager. Elyse plans to pursue her Masters Degree in Counseling.
While Elyse was at Centenary College she was actively involved in Psi Chi, the International Honors Society in Psychology. At Warren County Community College, Elyse was involved in the Student Government Association as a Committee Member which led her to become an assistant advisor to the club.
Elyse truly enjoys learning and helping people. Her goal after graduation was to find a job where she could truly make a difference by helping people achieve their goals. Elyse believes her goals can be obtained at Centenary College. “At Centenary College, I was given the support to grow personally and academically which is exactly the positive influence I would like to offer to the Centenary community. Centenary College may be a small school but it is big enough to offer many wonderful life changing experiences.”

Jennilee Joost,
Transfer and Part-Time Enrollment Counselor

- Jennilee Joost, Transfer and Part-time Enrollment Counselor
Jennilee was a transfer student from Warren County Community College and Bucks County Community College. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Centenary College with concentrations in Management and Marketing and a minor in Political Science. She states, “The wealth of this educational range was due to the direct influence of the great professors and advisors.”
Jennilee also claims she was only an average student but, “I was able to grow academically because of the individual attention I received as a student, and Centenary offers so many safety nets --- tutors, Academic Services, and additional help from the faculty.” She is now pursuing a Master's Degree in Business Administration at Centenary College.
She started her path towards becoming a Transfer and Part-time Counselor by working in the Transfer Admissions Office for two years as a work-study student. Ms. Joost said she was interested in working with transfer students since she herself was very familiar with the fears of transferring to a new institution. She hopes she can assist students experience as seamless a transition as she experienced, and "be a mentor for transfer students as my counselors were to me."

Janice Santangelo,

- Janice Santangelo, Data Coordinator
Janice is a graduate of County College of Morris with an Associate’s Degree in Office Systems Technology. While obtaining her degree, Janice interned with a Fortune 500 company, was hired full time after graduation dedicating 21 years of service. Janice joined Centenary College in 2009 and proudly represents the College as their Data Coordinator for the Office of Graduate and Transfer Enrollment. Janice is a native of Long Island, New York.
“I look forward to the opportunity to meet prospective students and their families on a daily basis and assist as they make their way through the application process. It’s a pleasure to see the spark in their eyes and the motivation they have to initiate the next exciting step in their lives.”

Sherri joined Centenary College in 2007 and is currently the Administrative Assistant for the office of Graduate and Transfer Enrollment. Prior to joining the Centenary College team, Sherri worked for a local data networking company as their Associate Director of Educational Services for 10 years. Sherri is a long time resident of Hackettstown and appreciates the beauty that the classic Victorian town has to offer. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two athletic sons, their dogs and supporting the local soccer league.
When asked why she enjoys working at Centenary she replied, “I enjoy having the opportunity to work with both transfer and graduate students on a daily basis. Being a mother of two and having an active life I can understand how important it is to receive great assistance with important life changing goals!”
