UG Full-Time Payment Schedule

A Full-time Traditional Undergraduate student is billed in advance for each semester.  A student’s account is expected to be paid in full on or before the date due. 

Spring 2015 - Traditional Full-time Undergraduate Payment Deadlines¹:

  • January 9, 2015: First deadline
  • January 20, 2015: Second deadline
  • February 2, 2015: Third deadline
  • Additional late payment fees will be charged, every two weeks after February 2, until the maximum late payment fees of $300 has been charged or payment in full is received.
  • Payment in full will be required immediately for any registration or schedule changes made after January 26, 2015.

Billing Notifications:

Failure to make on time payment may result in a late fee of $100 (for each deadline missed), a hold on grades, transcripts and diploma, and a registration hold which will prevent any schedule changes and changes to residence hall room selection.  These consequences will also affect students who receive financial aid, but who fail to submit missing documentation requested by the Financial Aid Office by January 21, 2015.  Notification of a hold(s) will appear on the student’s my.Centenary account. Exceptions can only be granted by the Bursar’s Office prior to the payment deadline. 

New students, will receive an initial paper bill for their first semester.  Subsequent bills will be available electronically (e-Bill) through the student’s my.Centenary account. 

Returning students, who have registered by December 1, 2014 can view their e-Bill on December 2, 2014.  Returning students who register after December 1 will be able to view their e-Bills immediately after completing their registrations.

Students who will be residing on campus and have been assigned a room will see their housing (Room & Board) costs as part of their billing ledger.  Students, who have indicated they will be residing on campus and do not see housing as part of their bill, should contact the Residence Life Office.

Email notifications will be sent to the student’s Centenary College email account for any adjustment due to changes to a student’s schedule, financial aid and/or housing assignments.  Monthly reminders will also be sent to the student’s email account each month requesting the student to review his/her account for any adjustments.

Students using financial aid to pay all or a portion of their bill should review their awards online through NetPartner at CentenaryCollege.edu/NetPartner.

Important NoteReturning students who will not be attending the spring semester must submit a Withdrawal/Leave of Absence form to the Student Life Office. New students who will not be attending the spring semester must submit a cancelation notification to the Admissions Office no later than January 19, 2015. Returning and new students who do not complete the proper forms by the deadline will be responsible for the costs of the semester, regardless of whether or not they attend any classes.  The following actions do not constitute appropriate notification of withdrawal or cancellation: non-payment of tuition & other charges, non-attendance in classes or notification to an instructor. A student who fails to withdraw or cancel officially waives the right for consideration of any refunds.

Acceptable Payment Methods:

Payment may be made using any combination of the payment methods listed below:

  • Cash, Check or Credit Card - Centenary College accepts Visa, MasterCard, and DiscoverCard. Payments and application fees may be made by visiting our secure online payment system: www.centenarycollege.edu/payments
  • Financial Aid - Financial aid should be in place before the payment deadline. Students can view their financial aid award at NetPartner at CentenaryCollege.edu/NetPartner.  Students should contact the Financial Aid Office with questions about their awards at finaid@centenarycollege.edu 
  • Tuition Payment Plan - A monthly tuition payment plan option is available in partnership with Tuition Management Systems (TMS).  For information or to enroll in the plan, please visit www.afford.com/centenarycollege
