Recreation and Fitness

Mission Statement

Recreation Programs and Fitness Classes stress the importance of healthy living by providing students with avenues to enjoy exercise outside of intramurals.

Some of our objectives:

  • To improve and maintain health and physical fitness through participation in recreation trips and fitness classes. 
  • Make social contacts and build friendships that can enrich the college experience.
  • Provide experiences on and off campus to promote health and wellness
  • Encourage the pursuit of new hobbies especially those that involve physical fitness
