Evergreen Group

The Centenary College Environmental Group is now the Evergreen Group.  To find out what the Evergreen Group is up to or to inquire about membership, please visit our Facebook page here.

The goal of this organization is to create a sense of responsibility for our resources and our community. Through promotion of awareness and education of environmental issues, this organization seeks to establish Centenary College as an environmentally positive example for other colleges and universities as well as the state of New Jersey.

We encourage involvement in the Centenary campus community and the the public community surrounding Hackettstown.  We offer educational programs on campus as well as local schools, organize environmental events, and develop and initiate programs to promote responsible use of the earth’s resources.

Annual Earth Day Celebration

Each year Centenary College hosts an annual Earth Day Celebration on the front lawn of the Seay building.  There are vendors, activities, a stage with live music and demonstrations, and fun for the whole family.  Learn more here>>.
