Welcome to the Centenary College Small Business Development Center.
Our region includes Warren, Sussex and Morris Counties. A full-time office is located at Centenary College, which is open to residents and businesses from any county. We also maintain part-time affiliate offices at Centenary College Learning Center, County College of Morris and Sussex County Community College.
We are one of 11 centers in the New Jersey Small Business Development Center network which provides small business entrepreneurs:

Our Partners
The lead center for the Small Business Development Center network is the New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) at Rutgers, The State University.
Funding for the Centenary College Small Business Development Center is derived from Centenary College, the US Small Business Administration (SBA) and the New Jersey Commerce and Economic Growth Commission under the College’s subcontract agreement with Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. It’s a partnership that gives the Centenary College Small Business Development Center access to new and developing information, network contacts and educational resources dedicated to small business.

Our Staff
Two full-time employees of Centenary College staff the Center. Dolores J. Stammer is the Regional Director and has management consulting, small business and financial service experiences. To make an appointment with the Center, your first contact is often SBDC’s Office Manager, Bernadette Beers. Call our office today at 908-852-1400 ext. 2136.
In addition to our staff, the Center maintains a resource network of consultants who are experts in the fields of marketing, law, finance and other specialties. All private consultants engaged by any Center in the New Jersey Small Business Development Center network are subject to its ethics and confidentiality standards.

Our Advisory Board
A local Advisory Board guides each center in the NJ Small Business Development Center network. All members of the Board are volunteers and receive no compensation for their service to the Regional Board. The Board consists of 15-20 members from the business community including economic development officials, former SBDC clients, other successful small business entrepreneurs, and college partners. Advisory Board Members serve a 1-year term.
