The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentrations include: In addition to the foregoing degree programs, the Business Department proposes to offer a Minor in Business Administration with Emphases in Management, Marketing, and Management Information Systems.
B.S. in Accounting
Students majoring in Accounting often plan to pursue careers in the field, many as Certified Public Accountants (C.P.A.) or Certified Management Accountants (C.M.A.). Our curriculum is designed to prepare you to sit for the CPA exam in New Jersey.
Introductory courses focus on basic accounting principles while advanced courses cover topics such as cost accounting, tax accounting, governmental accounting, auditing, business law and accounting information systems.

B.S. in Business Administration
A major in business administration emphasizes a generalist’s approach to provide our students with a background in the basic principles of efficient and effective business administration. Majors take a broad array of courses which expose them to the entire spectrum of business disciplines. The program is structured to include an understanding of the behavioral sciences and quantitative analysis.
Corporate internships are encouraged and the Department of Career Services should be contacted early on in your career at the college to identify areas in which you would like experience.

Concentrations
Finance
If you are considering a career in Finance, Investment and Management Analysis, or Banking, then you should select a concentration in Finance. Students concentrating in Finance will take courses in the humanities and social sciences alongside their course work in macro and micro economics, corporate finance, and seminars in investment trading.
Management
The Management concentration is an integrated, interdisciplinary program preparing you for a broad range of career opportunities. The program is grounded in discussions about values, ethics and society. Yet, it provides a strong foundation in business strategy, organizational design, and business practices, preparing you for a variety of business careers.
Marketing
The concentration in Marketing is designed to prepare students for successful careers in the marketing field through instruction in the theory and exposure to the application of modern marketing techniques. The program is multi-disciplinary and encourages you to pursue specific areas of interest.
Sports Management
The opportunities for careers in sports management are growing. With a curriculum combining management, marketing and a solid liberal arts foundation, and with well-placed internships, our students find themselves prepared for careers in a variety of sports-related industries.
