We invite you to call one of our Admissions Counselors to schedule a personal appointment.

Centenary fundamentally believes in the value of sharing with the community. From the moment you arrive, you begin to participate in community service initiatives.

Centenary College was the first college in New Jersey to require all of its undergraduate students to perform at least 10 hours of community service. You will find the experiences you have and the friendships you develop, combined with a personal commitment to community service, engage you in a kind of teamwork that best serves you and the world around you.

Community service may include participation in one or more of these organizations:

  • Midnight Run
  • Community Food Bank of New Jersey
  • Morris County Park Systems
  • Waterloo Village
  • Habitat for Humanity

Over our Christmas Break of 2005-2006, a number of our students donated their vacation time to offer relief and assistance to the victms of Hurricane Katrina. Working with other institutions in our area, a team of students, faculty, and staff worked to clean up homes and help families whose lives were ruined by the disaster.

The range of services our college offers to our community is a reflection of our pledge to create a true learning enviroment for all our students.
