The Partnership:

Centenary College, a fully accredited U.S. based College with over a 130-year history of providing quality education, is pleased to announce an educational partnership with Seneca College.

Centenary College in collaboration with Seneca College, Toronto, Ontario has created numerous pathways to bachelor and graduate studies for Business students. Students may continue their studies towards a baccalaureate (B.S.) or masters (M.B.A.) degree depending upon which program of study was completed at Seneca College.

Centenary College is located in Hackettstown, NJ, about one hour from New York City. Centenary College is a small College where every student is made to feel a part of the educational  process.

Accreditation:

Centenary College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Commission is dedicated to quality assurance and improvement through accreditation via peer evaluation. Middle States accreditation instills public confidence in institutional mission, goals, performance, and resources through the rigorous accreditation standards and their enforcement.

The Business School at Centenary College is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education is a specialized accrediting body that promotes and recognizes excellence in business education in colleges and universities at the baccalaureate and graduate levels, both in the United States and internationally.

Programs Offered:

Master of Business Administration - Receive up to 18 credits for your Business Graduate certificate. Upon graduation the student will receive a  "Master in Business Administration" degree. Having completed the Graduate Certificate Program at Seneca College and the MBA at Centenary College encompasses the education foundations necessary to succeed in your specialty area.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Receive full credit (3 years) with your 3 year Business diploma. Upon graduation the student will receive a "Bachelor of Science in Business Administration" degree. Having completed the advanced diploma (3-year) program at Seneca College and the BS in Business Administration at Centenary College encompasses the education foundations necessary to succeed in the field of business and attend graduate school.

Master of Business Administration Program:

Centenary College has articulation agreements with various partner colleges throughout Ontario Canada. Each articulation agreement is specific to the Ontario college and graduate certificate program.

Centenary College has recently collaborated with Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario to create a program that allows the graduates of Seneca's Graduate Certificate to receive their MBA online or in-residence.

Only Graduate Certificate program graduates in good standing, with a written letter of recommendation from their program advisor, are eligible for this opportunity.

Qualifying Seneca Certificate Programs:

Human Resource Management - Seneca students who have completed the Graduate Certificate program in Human Resource Management and hold a Bachelor's Degree may earn their MBA through Centenary College.

Marketing Management - Seneca students who have completed the Graduate Certificate program in Marketing Management and hold a Bachelor's Degree may earn their MBA through Centenary College.

Logistics and Supply Chain Management - Seneca students who have completed the Graduate Certificate program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and hold a Bachelor's Degree may earn their MBA through Centenary College.

International Business Management - Seneca students who have completed the Graduate Certificate Program in International Busniess Management and hold a Bachelor's Degree may earn their M.B.A through Centenary College.

Forensic Accounting - Seneca students who have completed the Graduate Certificate program in Forensic Accounting and hold a Bachelor's Degree may earn their M.B.A. through Centenary College.

Financial Service Compliance Administration - Seneca students who have completed the Graduate Certificate Program in Financial Service Compliance Administration and hold a Bachelor's Degree may earn their M.B.A through Centenary College.

MBA Admission Requirements:

Centenary College admits students regardless of race, color, sex, disability, age, and national or ethnic origin.

Students seeking admission to the Business Program must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a graduate of an approved three or four-year degree program.
  2. Have a "B+ or 75%" average or better.
  3. Complete an application.
  4. Have a Letter of Recommendation from your Seneca Program Coordinator emailed to canadianprograms@centenarycollege.edu

Bachelor of Science (Business Administration):

Students graduating in good standing from one of the three-year Business diploma or Business related diploma programs could transfer to Centenary College with full senior status in the Bachelor of Science (Business Administration). This means that full credit will be given to Seneca students and they can complete the degree B.S. by completing 32 to 36 credits (variation in credits is due to the general education courses taken at Seneca College).

The degree completion (32 to 36 credits) is available online or in-residence. The in-residence option requires two semesters and the on-line studies can usually be completed in a little more than one year (participating part-time).

Note that only three-year Business diploma program graduates in good standing are eligible for this opportunity.

Bachelor of Science (Business Administration) Requirements:

  • Be a graduate from a 3-year Business Diploma program
  • Have a 70% average or better.
  • Complete an application.

Bachelor of Fine Arts:

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design - Students graduating from the three-year Fashion Arts diploma program at Seneca College could transfer to Centenary College with full Senior status in the Bachelor of Fine Ats program in Fashion Design. This means that full credit will be given to Humber students and the can complete the degree B.F.A. by completing 32 credits.

The degree completion is available in-residence only. The in-residence program requires 2 semester to complete. Note that only three-year Fashion Arts diploma students in good standing are eligible for this opportunity.

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Merchandising and Design - Students graduating from the two-year Fashion Business diploma program at Seneca College could transfer to Centenary College with full Junior status in the Bachelor of Fine Ats program in Fashion Merchandising and Design. This means that full credit will be given to Humber students and the can complete the degree B.F.A. by completing 64 credits.

The degree completion is available in-residence only. The in-residence program requires 4 semester to complete. Note that only three-year Fashion Business diploma students in good standing are eligible for this opportunity.

Bachelor of Fine Arts Requirements:

  • Be a Graduate from a 2 year Fashion Arts or 2 year Fashion Business Diploma program.
  • Have a 70% average or better.
  • Complete an application.
