Graduate Admissions - Transfer Guidelines

Students can transfer into Centenary College from another institution by applying in the same means as traditional students. The courses must meet the following criteria:

  • Courses must have been taken within the last 5 years
  • The student obtained a grade of ‘B’ or better
  • The course content is equivalent to that of the Centenary Course

**Please see each individual program for the specific requirements.

Up to 6 credits for transfer may be considered for the following programs:

  • Master of Business Administration
  • Master of Arts in English Literature

Up to 9 credits for transfer may be considered for the following programs:

  • Master of Arts in Counseling
  • Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology
  • Master in Leadership and Public Administration
  • Master of Arts in School Counseling

Up to 6 credits for transfer may be considered for the following programs:

  • Master of Arts in Instructional Leadership
  • Master of Arts in Educational Leadership
  • Master of Arts in Special Education

Transfer credits are not accepted into our online programs of:

  • Master of Arts in Contemporary Pedagogy

Transfer Application Process

1. Prospective students can apply online. A $30.00 non-refundable application fee can be either mailed to:

3.  Send original transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. Send transcipts to:

4. If you are requesting a transfer of course credits, please contact us after the original transcripts have been received by our office to notify us of any additional transfer credits.
