The following is a list of Student Organizations that have currently been approved and are recognized by the Student Government Association for the 2009-2010 academic year. - Becca’s Closet
"Little things can make a big difference..."

Becca's Closet was created as a legacy to Rebecca Kirtman and the project she started. This organization provides formal attire to high school students who otherwise would not be able to attend their prom/homecoming. Becca's Closet collects and distributes formal attire to high school female students who cannot afford to buy dresses. We hold public events for girls to look through and try on gowns right before prom season each year.

- Centenary Track Club
The Centenary Track Club provides competition, fitness, health, and nutrition three times a week.

- Dance Club
The Dance Club's purpose is to bring the art of dance to Centenary.  No experience is necessary to join, however a passion or curiosity is.  By exploring various types of dance, this club enriches students' education by exposing them to multiple cultures.

- Divaz and Donz
Divaz and Donz group works to increase the confidence and freedom of expressing one’s self through dance and performance. Relieving stress, establishing unity and having fun in performing arts.

- Poetikz
Free yourself... Poetikz verbally, physically, and mentally expresses a way of spoken words through the encounter of everyday life with unique and creative ways.

-Social Work Club
The Social Work Club promotes awareness of important social issues in our campus and empower our fellow Centenary community members to join with us in addressing these issues and challenging all forms of social injustice.  Our skills, time, and dedication will be given freely to uphold this cause and support our mission.

- Sociology & Criminal Justice Club (S.C.J.C)
The Sociology and Criminal Justice Club exchanges ideas related to sociology and criminal justice issues as well as instill professionalism.  The organization provides information on internships, has guest speakers, sponsors field trips, does community service, and explores occupations within their field.

- S.T.R.I.V.E (Students Taking Real Initiative to Value Education)
S.T.R.I.V.E works to spread awareness that schools are in need of supplies and funds nationally and internationally in order to provide a valid education to their children.

- The Communication Arts Society
The Centenary College Communication Arts Society has been formed in order to provide the students of this institution an outlet to further explore the fields of Communication and graphic arts.  It will give the students hands on experience with equipment, connections with professors and other students interested in those fields, and networking capabilities with professional organizations.  Members will participate in projects and community service in order to increase their skills and add to their business portfolios.  They also help make new stories, movies, music videos, advertisements, documentaries, and create your own projects.”
