Student Government Association
The Student Government Association (SGA) promotes a democratic organization beneficial to the general welfare of the student body at Centenary College. All Centenary students are members of SGA. The officers who constitute the Executive Board are elected by the student body. Along with their other duties, members of the Executive Board serve as chairpersons of the SGA's standing committees.
Class Officers
Centenary College Class Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) represent each of the four classes, and are responsible for conducting class meetings, coordinating class activities and encouraging class unity and spirit.
Student Activities Committee
The Student Activities Committee (SAC) sponsors social, athletic, cultural and educational activities and special events on and off campus to points of interest as well as the events of the traditional winter and spring weekends. Membership is open to all Centenary students.
Commuter Council
The Commuter Council encourages the involvement of commuter students within the Centenary community, and seeks to promote spirit and enthusiasm.
Judicial Committee
The Judicial Committee upholds and protects the Code of Citizenship of Centenary College and enforces the social and citizenship standards established by the College community. The President is elected by the student body. In addition, students must participate in a competitive selection process.
Residence Council
The purpose of the Residence Council is to examine residence life policies, provide hall programming and to make recommendations for the improvement or changes in the Centenary residence hall system. The Residence Council membership consists of the following: Residence Council Chair and Vice Chair (elected at large by the resident student body), the Residence Hall Presidents (elected by members of the respective residence halls) and representatives from the Residence Life staff as necessary.
