Alpha Chi
Alpha Chi is a four-year high honors society founded to encourage sound scholarship and devotion to truth. While high scholarship is the primary requisite for eligibility, good character and reputation are also important considerations. Membership is restricted to juniors and seniors.

Beta Beta Beta
Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is a society for students, particularly undergraduates, dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. Since its founding in 1922, more than 200,000 persons have been accepted into lifetime membership, and more than 520 chapters have been established throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
To be considered for TriBeta, undergraduate majors in biological science must:
- Complete at least one term of the second year of a four‐year curriculum or its equivalent; and,
- Complete at least three term courses in biological science, of which at least one is not an introductory course.
Average grade of B in those classes for those courses must be a B, and the student must be in good overall academic standing.Associate membership is available for students interested in the life sciences but who are not yet eligible for regular membership --- such as Biology majors who do not have enough classes or do not meet the GPA, Biology or Environmental Science minors, and any student with a significant interest in biological science.

Delta Alpha Pi
"D" is for Disability, but also the triangle, symbol of strength. Members of Delta Alpha Pi demonstrate strength as leaders on campus to help break down the barriers of negativism. Also, they serve as mentors and role models for other students with disabilities.
"A" is for Achievement, Alpha is the beginning and academic achievement must come first. But also for advocacy because students must advocate for themselves before they can advocate for others. Members of Delta Alpha Pi enhance advocacy skills for themselves and for the rights of all individuals with disabilities.
"P" is for Pride, pride in academic achievement and accomplishments, not just as students with disabilities but as members of the community. Pi is a mathematical symbol that we all learned to use in elementary arithmetic classes. So Pi is an appropriate symbol for education. Members of Delta Alpha Pi participate in activities designed to educate their community.
Gamma Zeta Chapter
The Gamma Zeta Chapter at Centenary College is an active group in which members undertake projects of service to the campus and the community. Among the many events that the members participate in are clothing drives for the Midnight Run, mentoring new education students, a Big Brother/Sister picnic and a changing display of student learning centers. Some of the speakers brought to the Centenary Community have been from DYFS, NEA and Special Education. Regular meetings keep the members in touch with the current issues of education while instilling a sense of professional responsibility. Kappa Delta Epsilon enhances teaching as a profession and as a way of living.

Kappa Delta Epsilon is an honorary professional Education fraternity, the purpose of which is to promote the cause of education by fostering a spirit of fellowship, high standards of scholastic attainment and professional ideals among its members.

Kappa Mu Epsilon
Kappa Mu Epsilon is a specialized honor society in Mathematics. It was founded in 1931 to promote the interest of mathematics among undergraduate students. Its chapters are located in colleges and universities of recognized standing which offer a strong mathematics major. The chapters' members are selected from students of mathematics and other closely related fields who have maintained standards of scholarship, have professional merit, and have attained academic distinction.

Phi Alpha Theta
Phi Alpha Theta is a professional society whose mission is to promote the study of History through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians. We seek to bring students, teachers and writers of history together for intellectual and social exchanges, which promote and assist historical research and publication by our members in a variety of ways.

Sigma Tau Delta
The central purpose of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honors, is to confer the distinction upon outstanding students of the English language and literature in undergraduate, graduate and professional studies. Sigma Tau Delta also recognizes the accomplishments of professional writers who have contributed to the fields of language and literature.
The Alpha Kappa Alpha chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, was founded at Centenary College in January of 2001. Our mission is to introduce new programs to the Centenary College community and to encourage interest in the field of English. We have coordinated special events from guest speakers to poetry slams to community service.
