- Was wondering about placement
- Will put them on Dalton Field Sunday, and along Quad Mon - Wed
- Sign needed for Envir Grp table (John Simone)
- Raffle tickets & container needed (John Simone)
- Trifold pamphlet about the group (Angela Lynch/Kevin Schneider)

- Recycling Bin proposal submitted to exec staff
- Reviewed and gathered feedback
- Move reserved bins for the "common areas" of dorms to the
garbage areas of dorms
- Styrofoam ... ending use of
- Need a monthly/annual estimate of cost increase
- Would like to involve Linda Gonia more with the Group
- Suggest campus policy to exec staff which BANS purchasing of
disposable Styrofoam products for use on campus

Suggestions
- Create eco factoid signs, flyers or emails pertaining to consumption of
resources and the environment
- Look into the possibility of free or discount recycling bins through the
recycling hauler/vendor
- Put off recycled paper effort until Recycling Program is underway
- "Build up" underclassmen (through education and leadership training) to be
future leaders of the group
- Research other institutions' paths toward sustainability in order to learn
from their mistakes/successes
- Work with RAs to enforce resources waste in dorms
Action Items
- Create list of ways to reduce resource consumption/waste in dorms
- e.g. turn off TVs & laptops
- Invite facilities manager Todd Miller to next meeting
- Discuss possible cost reduction in garbage hauling after
introduction of recycling on campus
- Web Site
- List Green Initiatives on campus
- Possibly in three lists: Ideas, In-Progress, & Complete
- Create a moderated forum for online discussions
