SUBJECT: Administrative Holidays for 2008 - 2009
I am pleased to announce the holiday schedule for the 2008-2009 academic year. This schedule is based on the College’s fiscal year which begins July 1, 2008. On weekdays when classes are scheduled, offices are open.
The sixteen (16) holidays that full-time Centenary employees receive will vary from year to year as a result of the academic calendar. For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2008, Centenary College offices will be closed for the following holidays:

Friday, January 2, will be an additional holiday this year as an extra thank you for everyone’s dedicated efforts. Accordingly, this year, the College will provide 16 holidays plus one floating holiday for a total of 17. This floating holiday is to be scheduled at a time approved in advance by your supervisor.
As a general reminder, if, as the result of College operations, a holiday-eligible employee is expected to work on an observed holiday, the employee may schedule another day off in lieu of the holiday at a future time with supervisory approval.
