Academic Advisors

An Academic Advisors is assigned to you when you register. Your advisor will be a member of the faculty from the department of your declared major.

AFC1001

As a transfer student, it is not required that you participate in the AFC1001 program. This program is first time, full-time students.

Books

Centenary's bookstore is located in the lower level of the Seay building in the area known as the "sunken lounge." It is part of the Follet national chain and is also accessible online. When you go into the bookstore you will notice there are tags in front of the books. Match your course name to the tag and your books will be directly behind it. There are often used copies but they go fast!

Changing your class schedule

You will need an Add/Drop form from the Registrar's office. Fill it out and have your advisor sign it. Return it to the registrar and you should be done!

The Add/Drop form is also available on line here.

Credit transfers

The best thing you can do is speak to your Admissions counselor who will be able to answer all your transfer credit questions.

Food and snacks

Meals in Centenary Cafeteria is provided by Chartwell's Food Service, and it's very good. There is always a great selection and lots to eat.

Full-Time Commuters get 5 meals per week in the cafeteria. You may purchase more meals from the Food Service Director, Linda Gonia.

Tillie's Grill, located at the rear entrance of the Seay Building, offers anything from chips to fries and chicken fingers. Starbuck's coffee served daily. Tillie's is also a great place to meet up with people and relax over a cup of steaming joe!

Hackettstown

Hackettstown is a small, Victorian town. The people are friendly and there are many great places to visit, shop and enjoy the area.

Visit this page for more information about Hackettstown.

Parking

With a commuter parking tag (available at the business office at no charge) you may park in the Founders Hall Parking Lot, near Grand Street and Tannery Field.

Get complete parking information here.

Meeting other commuters

You can often find commuters in the sunken lounge. It is close to the bookstore, the mailroom, vending machines, the HUB printing services, and Tillie's Grill.
