Financial Aid for Online Students

Tips for Getting Started:

  1. Use the handy HESAA Tuition Aid Grant Award Estimator to determine your eligibility. The link opens in a new browser window.
  2. Look over our General Financial Aid information package. This helpful guide answers many questions about applying for financial aid.
  3. Visit our Seven Steps to Apply Web page to learn step-by-step how the financial aid process works from application to acceptance.
  4. Visit our Grants and Awards Programs page so you can discover the many financial aid programs available to Centenary College students.
  5. Apply for financial aid as soon as you and, if necessary, your parent's 2005 federal tax return are prepared. This improves your chances of getting the funding you need. Start with the federal government, then look into state programs and private funding.
  6. Watch out for individuals and companies that offer financial aid advice, often for very high fees. They seldom deliver what they promise.
