Bookstore Annual Inventory

Next Tuesday, February 9th beginning at 2pm the bookstore will be undergoing it's annual inventory process.

At 2pm on 2/9, the textbook section of the store will be closed. The rest of the store will remain open.

On Friday, 2/10, the store will be closed completely until inventory is completed at apx. 12:30pm.

In an effort to prepare for the annual inventory, the bookstore will suspend book buy back as of 2/2 through Monday, 2/13.

If you have any questions, please stop by the store.

Important Announcement - IRS Form 1098T from Centenary College

If you are a Centenary College student, an important email will arrive in your inbox, the beginning of January 2012, regarding your IRS 1098T form for 2011. The email will be from inform@getmydocument.com and the subject will be "Form 1098T 2011 from Centenary College: MAIN (000302) Tax Document Available.

Follow the directions, contained in the email, to download and print a copy of your IRS 1098T form 2011 form from Centenary College. This form then needs to be given to whoever will be claiming the student on their 2011 tax return.

This email will only be sent to the student's Centenary College email address. If the student does not view the form when they get the first email, the student will receive a reminder. After the final reminder, any student who has not access the online form wil have to wait until the 1098T form is mailed to them through the US Postal Service on January 31, 2012. If you do not see the original email, please be sure to check your span folder.

ALL BOOKS that were rented from the Centenary Bookstore as apart of the Rent-A-Text Program must be returned no later than Monday, May 9th.

If the books are not returned by that date, non-return fees will be charged to the credit card on file for the renter. Books may be returned anytime during the bookstore's normal business hours - Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm and Friday 9am-4pm.

The normal "buy back" program is also available for all books purchased through the bookstore from Tuesday, May 3rd through Monday, May 9th.

Accounts Payable has moved!!!!

Accounts payable has moved to its new offices and is open for business. They are now located on the third floor in the space formerly occupied by WNTI. Any mail or invoices for them can be put in the inter-office mail or brought to them personally.

On Thursday March 31st the Accounts Payable department will be moving their offices to the space formerly occupied by WNTI (third floor in the tower). On Thursday they will be packing up their old office and on Friday they will be unpacking in their new offices. Accounts Payable will have limited availability on Thursday and will be closed on Friday.

Please stop by next week and check out their new digs!

Bookstore Hours Update!

From today-April 30, 2011 - the NEW bookstore hours will be Monday-Thursday from 9am-5pm. Friday's hours will be 9am-4pm.

*During Spring Break the hours are Monday-Thursday, 9am-1pm only. They will be closed Friday, March 18th.

It is now located next door in Office 9A with Accounts Payable on the ground floor of the Seay Building.

Updated Information!! Important IRS Email for Students Arriving Soon!

If you are a student, an important email will arrive in your inbox in early January regarding your IRS 1098T form. The email will be from inform@getmydocument.com and the subject will be "Form 1098T 2010 from Centenary College: MAIN (000302) Tax Document Available."

If a student does not view their 1098T through the first email they will get two more reminders, one on 1/13 and one on 1/18. After the final notice, any student who hasn't accessed the 1098T via their email, will have to wait for the 1098T form be mailed to them through the US Postal Service.
