What study skill was ranked #1 for student success?

According to a study at Texas A&M University the top ranked strategy for student success was Note-taking.

The Academic Success Center continues its offering of Success Strategy workshops on Wednesday (and same workshop repeated again on Thursday) from 3-4PM in the Library Annex Classrooms on Note-taking.  The workshop is free and open to the entire college community.  For a complete listing of workshops go to:

The other skills the survey identified were Goal Setting, Selecting Ideas from texts and lectures followed by Time Management.
