Thanks for a great Midnight Run Centenary College!

03/31/2014, 10:11 AM

This past Friday night 20 Centenary College students, 2 alumni and 5 staff members packed up 2 vans and headed into New York City to deliver food, clothing, toiletry items and company to the homeless.

The helping started long before the vans left.  For months, Centenary College community members and those who live in neighboring towns have been providing the donations that were used on Friday night/Saturday morning.  Without these donations, we would have had nothing to pass out.  Life on the street can be cold, dirty and hungry.  We try to offer some relief.  This was a true example of a successful community effort.  Thank you to all who provided.  For more information on the Midnight Run tradition please visit our page or www.midnightrun.org

Chartwells has been a long time supporter of Midnight Run at Centenary College and provided meals, coffee, soup and sandwiches for the night.  We are so grateful for their abundant contributions and help on the run.
