Taylor Memorial Library Hosts a Unique Collection of Lead Toy Soldiers

Taylor Memorial Library has on temporary display a unique collection of lead toy soldiers, photographs and memorabilia belonging to Mr. Earle T. Holsapple, Jr. A decorated veteran of World War II, Mr. Holsapple served as the president and chairman of the board of Welsh Farms during a career at the company that spanned more than forty years. For seventeen years, he served on the Centenary College Board of Trustees, and he received an honorary doctorate from the College in 1999. Taylor Memorial Library is pleased to host Mr. Holsapple's generous gift to the Centenary College community.
