Help Is On The Way!

The movement from email to my.centenarycollege has created opportunities with which we are still attempting to cope. 

Help is here!

Every Wednesday at 3:00 pm, every person necessary to help you schedule an event or meeting will physically be in the SAC for half an hour.  At that weekly meeting, you will get help in 

• getting your event on the calendar,
• booking a room and negotiating set-up logistics,
• getting  a poster approved and moved into the print queue,
• scheduling security if necessary,
• creating and uploading an article for news and announcements,
• perhaps receiving SGA funding,  
• learning  of other events on that same day and time. 

These will not be opportunities to dream, brainstorm. advocate or critique. These will be quickly moving meetings with very little discussion or debate. (We'll schedule the dreaming and debating for another time.) This semester, events at the same time may be questioned but will not be prohibited. 

If possible, please come with a

• fully charged laptop
• enticing (and spell checked!!!) description of your event on your hard drive or a jump stick
• jpeg related to the event if you've got one (PG rated. No naughty bits!)

The staff of the Division of Student Engagement will always be ready to assist good people in the implementation of cool stuff. However, we will be able to give our focused, enthusiastic and undivided attention to you at these times in a way that we are not able to do throughout out the week in our offices.
