Hackettstown Historical Society Meeting

Charles Prestopine, the Vice Chairman of Preserve Historic Hackettstown, will be the featured speaker at the Hackettstown Historical Society's November 3 meeting. The meeting will be held in the Seay front parlours at 7:30 PM.

Prestopine has been instrumental in the restorations of the First Presbyterian Chapel located at 291 Main Street. To date the tower and the bell have been cleaned and stabilized. The 1820 orginial cast bell still resides in the tower. The next phase of the restoration is scheduled to begin this spring.
