Hackettstown Free Public Library Celebrates 100 Years

This year, the Hackettstown Free Public Library celebrates 100 years of service to the community.  The library was founded in 1913 by the Women's Club of Hackettstown.  There will be a street fair celebration to commemorate the 100th year of service and the Centenary College community is invited to attend!  

The Centennial Celebration will take place on Saturday, September 21st from 11am - 2pm in front of the Hackettstown Free Public Library at 110 Church Street in Hackettstown.  Festivities will include the burial of a time capsule to be opened in 2113, the Hackettstown Community Band, the Americana Singing Troupe, a penny candy booth, petting zoo, library open house and tours through the Hackettstown Historical Society Museum.
