Dorm Wars: Final Places

Starting at 1pm Sunday, residents and commuters, friends and family gathered in the Quad to begin the traditional dorm wars challenges. Green, Yellow, Black, Blue, Orange, and Red declared war and battled until the last group was standing.

Starting the day with a knock in the head, each team battled in the arena to wreck one another in the Wrecking Ball Challenge. Later, testing their teamwork abilities travelled the Quad on 8 footer in a Team Ski Walk. Moving on to a skill used every day, each team was challenged to test their brain skills and word knowledge to complete a sporcle word ladder challenge.

The best time then won the "Minute to Win It" style relay, testing their cup staking, tic tac toe and whippersnapper skills. We can not forget the humorous experience ending this relay called "How's it Hanging" as two players from each team was challenged to move an orange each, into a hula hoop using only the banana that hung from their waists.

Lastly, as the crowd started to die down the last 8 players battled each other in a raindrop relay, seeing who could fill their bucket the fastest after passing a raining bag over their heads.

With pride, determination and spirit the teams were neck and neck but only Reeves Hall could walk away Champs for this 2010 Dorm Wars!
