Centenary College Launches Online Virtual Campus Tour

10/07/2013, 02:20 PM

Hackettstown, N.J.– Centenary College recently launched a virtual campus tour, which is available at CentenaryCollege.edu/CampusTour.  It allows students to visit Centenary College from anywhere by viewing 360-degree images, as well as traditional photos and video clips.

“Once prospective students visit the Centenary campus and see how beautiful and welcoming it is, they become much more likely to enroll here,” says Timothy Captain, Director of Marketing for Centenary College.  “For those prospective students—and their parents—who can’t come to the main campus in Hackettstown, this virtual tour allows us to bring the Centenary College campus to them.”

Centenary partnered with the interactive company, YouVisit, to develop this product.  Featured tour highlights include the following:
• 360-degree photos of key locations on campus, which provide in-depth exploration of the facilities
• Fully interactive campus map, with the ability to navigate and view the campus at your own pace
• YouTube video streaming that allows for Centenary videos to be played directly from the tour
• Mobile app available for download on iTunes and Google Play store (search for Centenary College of NJ)
• Additional language modules for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish to support Centenary’s growing School of International Programs

In addition to the visiting Centenary College through the virtual tour, in-person tours are available by calling (908) 852-1400, ext. 2217.
