Calling all Commuter Students: Dorm Wars Team Roster

For years, Centenary students have used Dorm Wars as a traditional way to celebrate Dorm Pride and Cyclone Spirit. Dorm Wars is a friendly competition between different residence halls/areas on campus for bragging rights and the chance to show who the best dorm is on campus. The six (6) different teams will consist of Reeves, Smith, Van Winkle/Lotte, Anderson/Washabaugh, The Apartments (BS/Founders), and you, the Commuters. This year, the winner of this competition not only gets to say they are the best… but their banner is represented in the Student Activities Center window to demonstrate their victory.

Keeping Alive this Centenary tradition… the Residence Life & Student Activities Departments invites all residents and commuters to the Quad at 1 PM on October 3, 2010.

Last year, the Commuter team fought long and hard, battling the best to almost take home the prize. This year we reach out to you to help create a dynamic team that takes on the residence halls and shows the residents where the Commuters stand!

Every year each team has two (2) captains; would you like to lead the Commuters to victory? Do you have what it takes to be captain for the students who leave campus every night? Those interested in the captain’s role, please email Jessica Curry as soon as possible so that Residence Life can provide you with the rules, regulations and the details of the Captain’s Meeting!
