School of Professional Studies - APA Workshop Tutorial

What is APA?  APA stands for American Psychological Association and is the system used in social sciences for the citing of in-text references and giving credit to the original author(s).  Most academic writing assignments employ this version of placing, "...the writer's project in the context of previous research."  (A Writer's Reference, p. 415)
