Military Education Benefits

Centenary College has led the way for integration of a quality liberal arts education with career preparation for military personnel.

The Veterans Resource Center offers assistance with applying for educational benefits. There are a variety of educational benefits available to veterans.

Please Note: All benefits are determined by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Military Benefit Options:

Chapter 33: The Post-9/11 GI-Bill
Chapter 30: Montgomery GI Bill Active Duty (MGIB-AD)

Yellow Ribbon Program:

Centenary is a participant of the Post 9/11 GI Bill’s (chapter 33) Yellow Ribbon Program. Veterans who qualify for 100% of Chapter 33 may be eligible for free tuition at Centenary College. Under the new GI Bill, Veteran students may also receive a book and supply stipend, and a monthly housing allowance.

Tuition Reduction:

For students who do not qualify for the Yellow Ribbon Program, Centenary offers a 30% Tuition Reduction. Part time and Graduate students may be entitled to a 30% tuition reduction. This discount applies to all degrees and certificate programs.
