Style Guides
The American Psychological Association (APA) and the Modern Language Association (MLA) provide information and responses to frequently asked questions about their respective style guides online.
Purdue OWL is an online writing lab that offers more than 200 free resources, including writing and teaching writing, research, grammar and mechanics, style guides (APA and AMA) and ESL (English as a Second Language).
Citation Style for Research Papers is an online style guide from Long Island University that provides a color-coded key for each unique part of a citation. Styles include APA, MLA, Turabian, AMA and Chicago.
The MLA Citation Guide 7th Edition and APA Citation Guide 6th Edition/5th Edition information sheets offer useful information and tips for creating citations.
