Laptop Lending Policy

Laptop computers are loaned to students, faculty, adjunct faculty and staff for a maximum duration of four hours.

One form of identification is required to borrow a laptop (in preferential order):  driver's license, passport or credit card. The identification is held by the library until the laptop is returned.

Use the power cord while using a laptop.

If a laptop is returned late, the borrower is charged a fee of US$1.00 per hour.

If a laptop is lost, the borrower is charged its full value.

Stored materials are automatically erased when the laptop is shutdown. Save personal files to a removable storage device before shutting down or returning a borrowed laptop.
