- Be mindful of the number of pages you are printing. With web sites, scroll the window down to get a sense of the size of the page. With database articles, read the abstract to determine the number of pages.
- Use the "handouts" feature of PowerPoint when printing presentations. In the print window select "handouts" from the "Print what" drop-down menu. Then choose "3 Slides per page" from the "Handouts" drop-down menu to the right. Please print only one copy of presentations - it is unnecessary to print a copy for everyone in the class if you are projecting the presentation.
- Please do not print multiple copies of articles, resumes, reports, pamphlets, pictures, etc. Print jobs deemed excessively large will be cancelled.
- Be considerate of your classmates - large print jobs cause long delays at the printer. This is especially bothersome for students trying to complete pre-class printing.
- It is environmentally unsound to print excessively.
- Printing left for more than three days is discarded.
