Dr. ERNEST ROCKWELL DALTON

Dr. “Ernie” Dalton's career at Centenary College lasted an incredible 33 years! During his illustrious career at our fair college, Dr. Dalton was not only a Teacher, beloved Professor and Historian, but held several diverse administrative positions here at Centenary as well. Some of these positions were as follows, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Academic Dean, and Director of Public relations to name but a few. And in the year of 1979, he also added the title of Professor Emeritus of Political Science to his long list of personal lifetime achievements.
