Taylor Memorial Library is happy to accept books, textbooks, periodicals, videotapes and audiotapes that you no longer need or want. We must let you know, however, that once donated, any materials we receive are considered library property and we reserve the right to do with them whatever we feel necessary. Those who donate materials should also know that the library cannot be responsible if names, addresses and/or phone numbers are left in donated items. We typically will add materials to our collection if they are in good condition, support Centenary’s curriculum, and (in most cases) are relatively recently published/produced items.
We place items (in generally good condition) which will not be added to our collection on the “Giveaway Table” in the library foyer. Students may take these materials for their own use.
Any items that are in poor condition, have an unpleasant odor or are deemed moldy will be disposed of. Unfortunately, we cannot add these types of materials to our collection.
Thank you for your interest in the Taylor Memorial Library. We are most appreciative of all donations to our collection.
