Collection - Taylor Memorial Library houses more than one hundred thousand items, including books, print periodicals, DVDs, videotapes, audiocassette tapes, microfilm and microfiche. Search the online catalog to find resources in the collection. Databases - Taylor Memorial Library provides online access to more than thirty proprietary databases, which encompass acacemic disciplines offered at Centenary College. The databases are accessible anywhere on campus and most are available off campus as well. Q and A NJ - Q and A NJ is an online chat-based reference service that provides one-on-one reference assistance from professional librarians twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Taylor Memorial Library is a member of this free program. JerseyCat - JerseyCat is a program that enables students, faculty and staff of Centenary College to directly search and request resources from more than 500 participating New Jersey libraries. As part of its interlibrary loan service, Taylor Memorial Library also participates in OCLC, a program that provides interlibrary loan access to materials nationwide. Archive - The Archive at Taylor Memorial Library contains artifacts that relate to the history of Centenary College from its founding in 1867 to the present. Among the items curated by the library are college publications, student newspapers, yearbooks, photos and college memorabilia. A selection of digitized artifacts are presented online at Centenary College History. Computers - Thirty computers are available in the library, as well as ten docks for laptops. Microsoft Office and Internet access are provided. The public is charged a nominal per-page fee for printouts. Donations - Taylor Memorial Library accepts books, textbooks, periodicals, DVDs, CDs, videotapes and audiotapes. Once received, donated materials are considered property of Taylor Memorial Library, and materials are added to its collection if they are in good condition and support Centenary College’s curriculum.
