![]() About UsCollection - The Learning Resource Center collection consists of over one hundred thousand items, including books, print periodicals, DVDs, videotapes, audiocassette tapes, microfilm, and microfiche. All of these materials are listed in our online catalog.
Databases - Access to over thirty online proprietary databases is provided by the Learning Resource Center. The databases provide information resources covering all disciplines offered at Centenary. The databases may be accessed anywhere on our wireless campus and most of the databases provide off campus access.
Computers - Thirty public access computers are available as well as plug in docks for ten laptops. Our patrons may utilize Microsoft Office as well as the Internet from the computers. A fee is charged to the public for printing from the public access computers.
Q&A NJ - A program that provides access to a librarian twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. The program utilizes chat technology for real time online communication with our patrons.
JerseyCat - The Learning Resource Center participates in the State Library's JerseyCat program that allows our academic community to directly search and request items from more than 500 participating New Jersey libraries. We also participate in OCLC which provides us with interlibrary loan access to materials nationwide.
Archives - The library archives houses materials pertinent to the history of the college from its founding in 1867 to the current day. A variety of items are found in the archives including, college publications, student newspapers, yearbooks, photos and college memorabilia. Please visit the Centenary History page.
Our Staff - The library staff is trained in research techniques and is available to assist students is using reference sources. When in doubt about how to use materials and/or facilities of the library, ask the staff for assistance.
