Policy Description

Title IX of the 1972 Education Amendments prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs receiving federal funds. Discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and sexual violence are violations of federal and state law as well as serious violations of Centenary College policy and will not be tolerated. The College abides by all applicable federal, state and local laws that prohibit unlawful discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, creed, age, religion, sex, gender, affectional or sexual orientation, marital or family status, military or veteran status, disability or any other protected trait or class, in any educational or employment program, policy or practice of the College.
