Christine Vandenberg,
Associate Director for Graduate Programs

Christine has been a member of Centenary’s enrollment staff for the past 8 years.

Christine received her B.A. in Political Science from Stonehill College in North Easton, MA. and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, N.J.  She is a member of the Bar of the State of New York (inactive) and the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals (NAGAP).  
Prior to joining Centenary College, Christine was a litigation associate in New York City as well as a legal search consultant. She has over 10 years of recruiting experience with several prominent search firms in New York and New Jersey specializing in the placement of attorneys with corporate clients in the financial services area as well as international law firms.

Christine joined the Graduate Studies Office at Centenary College in the Fall of 2004 focusing her recruiting skills on enrolling graduate students in the areas of Counseling and Education. In 2006 Christine was promoted to the role of Associate Director for Graduate Programs. Christine is the Enrollment Counselor for the M.A. in Counseling, M.A. in Counseling Psychology, M.A. in School Counseling as well as Centenary’s first online education degree, the Master of Education in Educational Practice.

Jenna Rossi,
Graduate Enrollment Counselor

Jenna attended Centenary College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2009. While at Centenary she worked in the Admissions Office as a Student Ambassador and was also a Resident Assistant.

Before the summer of 2008, Centenary helped Jenna find an internship at a rehabilitation center. She interned there for several months and then after she graduated was offered a full time position. For three years, she worked as a Cognitive Therapist and Care Coordinator for people suffering from traumatic brain injuries.

Over the years, Jenna has helped people to try and reach there personal goals. Jenna states, “Now I am given the opportunity to advise students through the admissions process and direct them towards achieving their own personal career goals”. Jenna wants the students whom she works with to be able to have the same memorable experience she did at Centenary College.

Sherri Weiss,
Administrative Assistant

Sherri joined Centenary College in 2007 and is currently the Administrative Assistant for the office of Graduate and Transfer Enrollment.  Prior to joining the Centenary College team, Sherri worked for a local data networking company as their Associate Director of Educational Services for 10 years.  Sherri is a long time resident of Hackettstown and appreciates the beauty that the classic Victorian town has to offer.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two athletic sons, their dogs and supporting the local soccer league. 

When asked why she enjoys working at Centenary she replied, “I enjoy having the opportunity to work with both transfer and graduate students on a daily basis.  Being a mother of two and having an active life I can understand how important it is to receive great assistance with important life changing goals!”

Janice is a graduate of County College of Morris with an Associate’s Degree in Office Systems Technology.  While obtaining her degree, Janice interned with a Fortune 500 company, was hired full time after graduation dedicating 21 years of service.  Janice joined Centenary College in 2009 and proudly represents the College as their Data Coordinator for the Office of Graduate and Transfer Enrollment.  Janice is a native of Long Island, New York.
