All About Fall Orientation

Orientation begins August 23
Orientation begins on Saturday, August 23.

ALERT! Bridge construction on Route 46 Westbound.

A bridge along route 46 in Hackettstown will be under construction and inaccessible during Move-In Weekend.

To avoid delays, we encourage those coming on Route 80 to use Exit 19 (Hackettstown/Allamuchy) instead of exit 26 (Hackettstown/Budd Lake).

Please remember to punch the 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 address into your GPS!

Health Forms: All students must submit completed health forms before access to move in is permitted. Our Nurse will be available all day on Saturday (Founders Hall Lobby, 1st Floor) to accept outstanding paperwork and provide shots as needed. Please click here for more health services information.

Saturday, August 23, 2014: Resident Move-In / Orientation

Pack it all up and get ready to make yourself at home! Move-In for resident students is on the morning of Saturday, August 23rd, 2014. You will receive more detailed instructions for this process in early August.

Not living on campus? Sleep in a little and then join us after the residents have moved in! Orientation will be held throughout the rest of the day. We have lots of activities set up for everyone to get to know the campus better.

Sunday, August 24, 2014: Transfer / Commuter Orientation

Today is specifically designed to allow residents to settle in while commuter students get orientated to the campus and its resources. There will also be a session for student veterans and veteran dependents who are joining the Centenary family. Laptops will also be distributed to all full time students in the early afternoon.

Monday, August 25, 2014: Community Plunge Day

Join members of the Centenary community in a day filled with community service based locally at locations who benefit tremendously from our support. This day also fulfills the college's graduation requirement for community service hours while developing bonds with other new students.

Tuesday, August 26, 2014: Orientation Conclusion

Today is meant for everyone to relax and gear up for classes on August 27th. The common book group discussions will be held in the afternoon.

Please check back frequently as schedule is subject to change.

Orientation is an excellent opportunity to begin learning about the Centenary experience so we hope that each and every one of you will be in attendance for these events. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact the New Student Hotline at 866-696-8108.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
