Renewing Your Aid - Undergraduate Students

Financial aid is reviewed and awarded on an annual basis. Different awards have different requirements for renewal. Special requirements may be indicated in the message section of NetPartner» as well as in the detailed award information on our Types of Aid page.

All financial aid requires that a student maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). You can learn more about SAP on our Policies page.

Annual FASFA Requirement

All federal, state, and need based Centenary funds require a student to complete their FAFSA each year. Centenary funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The FAFSA should be filed no later than the April 1st priority deadline.

If you were the recipient of a New Jersey Tuition Aid Grant (TAG) last year, you must file your FAFSA no later than June 1st. Be sure to click on the link upon completion of the FAFSA to link over to HESAA’s website to answer additional questions to determine your Tuition Aid Grant eligibility.

Additional Requirements

Some awards will have specific requirements for participation. Please refer to the information on each individual award for more clarification. All continuing students should have their  2015-2016 FAFSA completed and all additional requested information, including but not limited to verification worksheets and tax return transcripts submitted prior to the April 1, 2015 priority deadline to ensure maximum eligibility.

Private Loans and Scholarships

Students who would like to borrow a private loan each year must complete a new application annually.

Students who have received an outside scholarship should contact the donor of the award to determine the renewal process, if any.
