Scholarship Awards for Women
Career Development Grants
Theses grants support women who hold a Bachelor's degree and are preparing to advance their careers, change careers, or re-enter the work force. Special consideration is given to AAUW members, women of color, and women pursuing their first advanced degree or credentials in nontraditional fields. Awards range from $2,000 to $8,000.

Eileen Iannotta Memorial Scholarship
Soroptimist International comprises almost 100,000 members in 119 countries around the world. The heart of Soroptimist’s mission is to "make a difference for women" through volunteer service to the community. Projects are carefully chosen to address challenges unique to today’s women. Soroptimist, a recognized authority on matters that women value most, uses its international voice and official status with the United Nations to advocate on behalf of women’s issues.
Eligibility: The applicant must be a woman with financial need who is attending or has been accepted into an accredited post secondary degree program. A copy of your completed income tax return for the year 2005 is required.

ELCA (Lutheran) Scholarships for Administrative Leadership
The Arne Administrative Scholarship provides assistance to women interested in reaching the top of their field as administrators. The additional education may be pursued through full-time attendance in school, night courses, or summer sessions.
Jeannette Rankin Foundation
Awards grants to low-income women (over the age of 35) who have a vision of how their education will benefit themselves, their families, and their communities. The JRF grants are for $2000 and will be awarded in the fall. The funds are not limited to just tuition expenses, but can also be used for books, supplies, transportation, childcare, or any other living expenses.
Linda Lael Miller Scholarships
These scholarships are awarded to women who are 25 years or older, non-traditional students who have a difficult time finding scholarships for which they qualify. As in previous years, the scholarship funds may be used not only for tuition and books, but also for child care, transportation and other expenses not covered by traditional scholarships.

P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education
Provides grants up to $1,500 for educational expenses, (e.g., tuition, books, transportation, childcare) to women whose education has been interrupted and who find it necessary to resume studies due to changing demands in their lives.
R.T.N. Scholarship for Continuing Education
This scholarship is available to single parent women who would like to go to school or continue with their education, but have been denied sufficient resources.
Society of Women Engineers Reentry Scholarships
The reentry scholarships were established to assist women in obtaining the credentials necessary to reenter the workforce as engineers. Eligibility is restricted to women who have been out of the engineering workforce as well as out of school for a minimum of two years prior to reentry. Recipients may be entering any undergraduate or graduate year, including doctoral programs, as full or part time students.

Soroptimist's Women's Opportunity Awards
These are cash awards that assist women entering or re-entering the workforce in obtaining the education and skills training they need to improve their employment status. These awards are for women who are attending, or have been accepted to, a vocational/skills training program, or an undergraduate degree program. Recipients may use for any expenses related to their educational pursuits. These include tuition and books, housing, child care and transportation. Awards vary up to $10,000.
Talbot’s Women's Scholarship Fund
Five women will each be awarded $10,000 scholarships and 50 women will each be awarded $1,000 scholarships. All applicants must be seeking an undergraduate degree from an accredited two- or four-year college or university, or vocational-technical school. Only applicants seeking a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university are eligible to receive a $10,000 award. Scholarship awards are based primarily on financial need and previous achievements for women who earned their high school diploma or GED at least 10 years ago.
