12 Keys Academic Essay Scholarship

Eligibility: This scholarship will be available to any U.S. resident who will be enrolling in college courses in their next semester. This is open to all majors of study. Please see "Other Rules and Regulations" for more information.

Eligibility: Graduate Programs will award $1,000 scholarships to pre-grad students who are current undergraduates (Juniors and Seniors) in an accredited institution who are thinking of applying to Grad school, or are recent college graduates who are thinking about going to Grad school. Eligibility: The New Jersey Society of CPAs College Scholarship Program provides scholarships to accounting students at New Jersey colleges. The scholarships are available to college students currently in their junior year or seniors who will be entering an accounting-related graduate program.

AP-Google Scholarship

Eligibility: The AP-Google Journalism and Technology Scholarship Program foster new journalism skills in undergraduate and graduate students developing projects at the intersection of journalism and technology.

Robin M. Urbanski Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: The scholarship award is available to all pre-law and law school students. Students must be accepted to or already attending an accredited US college or university or accepted to or attending a fully accredited US law school. In addition, the scholarship is only available to students with a medically documented disability, which can be either a physical disability or a learning disability.

Legal Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship

Eligibility: The 2014 Legal Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship is an annual $1,000 scholarship awarded to a student pursuing a career in the legal field who submits the best 200-300 word essay on the topic of how legal professionals can make a positive difference in their community. Applicants must be college students pursuing a legal related undergraduate degree or certificate such as pre-law, paralegal, or criminal justice. High school students are also eligible if they have been accepted to a college and plan to study a legal related major.

Scholarships for Women


Career Development Grants

These grants support women who hold a Bachelor's degree and are preparing to advance their careers, change careers, or re-enter the work force. Special consideration is given to AAUW members, women of color, and women pursuing their first advanced degree or credentials in nontraditional fields. Awards range from $2,000 to $8,000.


Eileen Iannotta Memorial Scholarship

Soroptimist International comprises almost 100,000 members in 119 countries around the world. The heart of Soroptimist’s mission is to "make a difference for women" through volunteer service to the community. Projects are carefully chosen to address challenges unique to today’s women. Soroptimist, a recognized authority on matters that women value most, uses its international voice and official status with the United Nations to advocate on behalf of women’s issues.

Eligibility: The applicant must be a woman with financial need who is attending or has been accepted into an accredited post secondary degree program. A copy of your completed income tax return for the year 2005 is required.

ELCA (Lutheran) Scholarships for Administrative Leadership

The Arne Administrative Scholarship provides assistance to women interested in reaching the top of their field as administrators. The additional education may be pursued through full-time attendance in school, night courses, or summer sessions.


Jeannette Rankin Foundation

Awards grants to low-income women (over the age of 35) who have a vision of how their education will benefit themselves, their families, and their communities. The JRF grants are for $2000 and will be awarded in the fall. The funds are not limited to just tuition expenses, but can also be used for books, supplies, transportation, childcare, or any other living expenses.


Linda Lael Miller Scholarships

These scholarships are awarded to women who are 25 years or older, non-traditional students who have a difficult time finding scholarships for which they qualify. As in previous years, the scholarship funds may be used not only for tuition and books, but also for child care, transportation and other expenses not covered by traditional scholarships.


P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education

Provides grants up to $1,500 for educational expenses, (e.g., tuition, books, transportation, childcare) to women whose education has been interrupted and who find it necessary to resume studies due to changing demands in their lives.

Rosenfeld Injury Lawyers Single Mothers Scholarship

Eligibility: (2 scholarships being awarded)
     1 - Single mother enrolled in a US undergraduate program
     1 - Single mother enrolled in law school

Society of Women Engineers Reentry Scholarships

The reentry scholarships were established to assist women in obtaining the credentials necessary to reenter the workforce as engineers. Eligibility is restricted to women who have been out of the engineering workforce as well as out of school for a minimum of two years prior to reentry. Recipients may be entering any undergraduate or graduate year, including doctoral programs, as full or part time students.


Soroptimist's Women's Opportunity Awards

These are cash awards that assist women entering or re-entering the workforce in obtaining the education and skills training they need to improve their employment status. These awards are for women who are attending, or have been accepted to, a vocational/skills training program, or an undergraduate degree program. Recipients may use for any expenses related to their educational pursuits. These include tuition and books, housing, child care and transportation. Awards vary up to $10,000.


Talbot’s Women's Scholarship Fund

Five women will each be awarded $10,000 scholarships and 50 women will each be awarded $1,000 scholarships. All applicants must be seeking an undergraduate degree from an accredited two- or four-year college or university, or vocational-technical school. Only applicants seeking a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university are eligible to receive a $10,000 award. Scholarship awards are based primarily on financial need and previous achievements for women who earned their high school diploma or GED at least 10 years ago.

Scholarships for Adult Learners


AAIA Displaced Homemaker Scholarship

The Association on American Indian Affairs offers Displaced Homemaker Scholarships in the amount of $1000 each, to those men and women who would not otherwise be able to complete their educational goals due to family responsibilities. Funds may be used to assist with child care, transportation and basic living expenses, etc. in addition to educational costs. Disbursement is made during the first semester. Applicants must be full time students. This scholarship does not automatically renew. Students are eligible to apply on a yearly basis. Deadline for application is July 20.


AFCEA Scholarship for Working Professionals

The scholarship will provide $1,500 to those students pursuing an undergraduate degree while employed in the science and technology disciplines directly related to the mission of AFCEA. Candidates must be at least second-year students attending an accredited college or university in the United States. The scholarship is intended for students attending school on a part-time basis, whether at a two-year community college or a four-year institution. Part-time status will be defined as enrollment in at least two classes per semester with a declared major in a science or technology degree program.


Golden Key’s GEICO Life Scholarship

This award recognizes outstanding members of Golden Key who achieve academic excellence while balancing additional commitments such as family and/or career. Ten $1,000 awards awarded annually.

Kazimour Scholarship

Dr. Kim Kazimour and ANTSHE (Association of Nontraditional Students in Higher Education) sponsor the annual Kazimour Scholarship which gives three $500 Awards, two for undergraduate students (two-year and four-year) and one for a graduate student. Applicant must be an ANTSHE member.


The Wal-Mart Higher REACH Scholarships

These are awarded to non-traditional students who have been employed by Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. for at least one year as of February 1. Winners may receive up to $2,000 payable over one year (award amount varies depending on part-time or full-time enrollment).To be eligible for the program, candidates must be able to identify their career goals and objectives along with meeting the necessary educational and financial requirements.
