Justin Williamson named February 2011 Equine Student of the Month

Justin Williamson is one of the most versatile and unique students here at Centenary College. His upbeat and cheerful personality is only one of the reasons why he is Student of the Month.

Justin graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School in 2009 and during his time there, he always made sure he was active in anything he put his mind to. Alongside his love of riding and horses, Justin is an amazing flute player and vocalist. During his time in high school, he was active in all the school plays both on and off stage and participated in band, sitting first chair flute player. Even after graduating, he continues to go back to his high school and helps the drama department with sets, choreographing and onstage makeup. But when it came time for Justin to make his next big move for the future, his love and desire for the Equine field is what made him choose Centenary College.

During his time at Centenary College, Justin has made his mark on not only the students but staff and facility as well. He never thinks twice about lending a helping hand to anyone who asks and loves spending time with his favorite horse, Parker. Whether it is pulling a mane or teaching another student something new, Justin is always there with a smile on his face. He is an active volunteer to the IHSA team for prepping horses and being at every event, giving moral support or rooting on the team. He is always in the barn helping the best way he knows how. Justin’s remarkable personality and determined attitude is the reason why he is Student of the Month. Congratulations Justin!!!
