Biography

Carolyn Meyer graduated from Centenary College with a Bachelor of Science in Equine Studies in 2005.  Her concentration was in Teaching and Training.  While at Centenary, Carolyn competed on the nationally acclaimed Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) team.  Upon graduation, Carolyn became a riding instructor, teaching lessons for students of all ages and abilities.  During this time, Carolyn also owned and trained her own thoroughbred mare, Lily, whom she showed in the jumpers all around New England, earning many year-end awards.

In the years following, Carolyn chose to pursue other ventures in the equine industry.  In 2009 she moved to Aiken, South Carolina, where she spent time grooming for a top U.S.  pony driver as well as an up and coming Hunter/Jumper trainer.  Carolyn moved back to New Jersey in 2012, when she accepted the position as a member of the Centenary College Equine Center Management Team.  She now resides in Mt. Olive, NJ, with her husband, Paul and their cat, Jada.
