Career Fairs give students the opportunity to connect face to face with potential employers. Centenary hosts Career Fairs for its students. We also provide information about Career Fairs happening in our area.

Teacher Expo – South Carolina

Expo is a teacher job/information fair that brings together teachers looking for professional opportunities and school districts look for excellent teachers.

MONDAY JUNE 2, 2008 --------- 9AM – 4PM

South Carolina State Fairgrounds

This expo is for all outstanding candidates looking for teaching jobs in South Carolina.
Representatives from South Carolina’s school districts will be present to interview and share information.

Green Hope High School – Elementary candidates
Panther Creek High School – Secondary Candidates

If you are fully licensed, have completed your student teaching, or are eligible for a valid teaching license, join hundreds of other candidates at the Spring Teacher Job Fair.  School administrators will be on site to conduct interviews and to offer contracts to selected applicants. Pre-registration is required.  Candidates are encouraged to complete and submit all components of the WCPSS application before the job fair.

Advertising College Fair
212 (www.212nyc.org), New York's Interactive Advertising Club, cordially invites students at colleges and universities in the northeast and mid-Atlantic states to attend our 4th Annual Career Day and Recruitment Fair on Friday, April 25, 2008 from 10am – 3pm.  The one day fair, hosted at NYU's Wasserman Center for Career Development (133 E 13th St), will include networking sessions with industry professionals as well as helpful career panels, including:

1. Digital luminaries
2. How to write a resume/The art of Interviewing
3. A day in the life of a digital professional

Panelists currently include Jeff Minsky from OMD, David Cohen from Universal McCann, and Greg Smith from Carat.  In addition, representatives from Yahoo, Facebook, as well recruiting specialists will also participate in the panels. 

Hiring Employees include publishers like Microsoft and NYTimes/About and interactive ad agencies like Ogilvy, Beyond Interaction and many others.

Last year's Career Day was a huge success, with more than 350 qualified candidates and upwards of 30 employers attending.  This year's Career Day promises to educate, inspire, and energize the future leaders of our industry.
